The young performers study the truth, beauty, and goodness contained within the story so that it comes through clearly to the audience. Students grow in faith, confidence, and community as they hold themselves and each other to a high standard.
Grounded in Faith
"Lolek" was the childhood nickname of St. John Paul II. Young Lolek loved theatre and, prior to recognizing his call to the priesthood, intended to be a professional actor. He valued art as a “cultural resistance” to the problematic ideals that were sweeping his country.
